Lisa Chappell first won fame playing spoilt rich kid Chelsea Redfern in 1980s glamour soap Gloss. After acting in period romp Desperate Remedies she moved to Australia and landed a starring role in hit show McLeod’s Daughters. Between small screen gigs, Chappen 2009 she returned to New Zealand to play the gun-toting Sophie in TV drama The Cult.

Once I was in on the Hercules run, I loved it, because I’m such a big actor. I’m such a camp really, over-the-top actor, so it just gives you licence to play.
